Hearing Loop Products

Desktop Loop - Portable or Powered

The Desktop Loop (ILP) is an all-in-one personal-sized induction field generator for use with telecoil equipped hearing aids. The Desktop Loop combines an induction loop amplifier and the induction loop itself in a light weight case. It comes equipped with a rear-mounted internal microphone and two additional microphone ports – one port for a top-mounted mini-shotgun mic and a second port for a goose neck mic (shown below). The rugged construction and commercial-grade, washable material can stand up to daily use and features the internationally recognized symbol for an induction loop system. The listening field generated by the Counter Loop accommodates people standing or sitting and is ideal for locations where space is limited. The unit can stand alone on its hinged adjustable plate or be wall- or window-mounted with an optional, clear snap-on mount. Portable units feature an internal re-chargeable battery that provides 8 hours of uninterrupted, untethered use.

Seat Cushion Loop

The Seat Cushion Induction Loop (ILS) creates a personal-sized induction loop field for telecoil equipped hearing aids. The seat cushion works in conjunction with Emcom’s ILA10 amplifier which allows a microphone or alternative audio source to be broadcast through the cushion. The commercial-grade, resilient cushion can withstand common use. Optionally, the cushion can feature the internationally recognized symbol for an induction loop system. The field size generated by the Seat Cushion Induction Loop is large enough that it can accommodate people of any height in a sitting position. Emcom’s Seat Cushion Loop is ideal for use in an audiologists’ fitting room.

Overhead Induction Loop

The Overhead Loop (ILO) works in conjunction with Emcom’s ILA10 amplifier which allows a microphone or alternative sound source to be broadcast through the overhead disc. Designed to be mounted overhead for optimal performance, it can also be mounted on walls or within or under furniture. The ILO is a complete, low profile induction loop system that requires only power and an audio input.

Induction Loop Amplifier

The Induction Loop Amplifier (ILA10) is designed to drive small and medium-sized induction loops to convey clear, strong audio to wearers of hearing aids and cochlear implants. It is suitable for use at counters, in vehicles and in meeting rooms.

Induction Loop Rubber Floor Mat

The Induction Loop Rubber Floor Mat (ILM) creates a personal-sized induction loop field for telecoil equipped hearing aids. The rubber mat works in conjunction with Emcom’s ILA10 amplifier which allows a microphone or alternative sound source to be broadcast through the mat. The commercial-grade, resilient mat can withstand high traffic and features the internationally recognized symbol for an induction loop system. The field size generated by the Induction Loop Floor Mat is large enough that it can accommodate people standing or sitting. Emcom’s Rubber Floor Mat is ideal for locations where space is limited.

Listener for Induction Loops

The Trans Hearing Listener (TH1) is a battery-powered, portable, receiver that allows the user to listen to an Audio Frequency Induction Loop System using a standard pair of stereo headphones. The lightweight and compact TH1 is small enough to be worn in a shirt or jacket pocket. It can also be worn on a belt using the attached belt clip or around the neck using the attached lanyard.

The TH1 features a standard 3.5 mm jack for headphones, a volume control, and two switch-selected audio modes: one for normal environments and another that filters out low end interference, if it is present. A 3-LED meter continuously displays the strength of the induction loop signal.

The TH1 is powered by two easily accessed AA batteries and is turned on by selecting an audio mode and by plugging in the headset. This feature allows the headset to remain plugged in when the unit is not in use.
