Description
The IP6402 is a rugged, touch screen smart phone that provides a highly intelligent, networked, application specific audio/ video communication point. The handset provides VoIP communications utilizing SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). The unit can be panel mounted or configured standalone.
Emcom provides the IP6402 with installed applications ranging from conference bridging to communications management similar to that of its EmVista Agent Stations. When used in conjunction with EmVista Central, the unit communicates with other users and shares video with the network as directed by EmVista Central. It can be configured and placed strategically on the network to provide additional levels of redundancy in critical areas.
With the appropriate software application installed, the IP6402 can manage network isolated sites such as parking lots, garages, buildings, and other settings as a standalone system. Users can respond to local calls while viewing real time video.
